We visited Eau Palm Beach in August for our anniversary. This is a wonderful property just south of the center of Palm Beach. There are a number of posts on this blog featuring this property. Here is a quick checklist to review before booking your stay with us.

TravelAnne Hotel Checklist - Full Experience

Eau Palm Beach

 

Year Built: 1991


Last renovated: 2018


Number of rooms: 309


Number of restaurants: 4 restaurants (2 outdoors) and 2 bars


Activities: 2 pools with private cabanas, 2 tennis courts,

boating,sailing, fishing


Spa: 42,000 square foot, Forbes 5 Star designated spa with

19 treatment rooms- Rating of 1-10 it would be 20!


Fitness Center: Yes


Third Party Ratings: Forbes 5 Star/AAA 5 Diamond


Date of re-opening: July 1, 2020


Sundries Shop: Yes


Shopping: There is a general boutique selling sundries,

swimwear, T-shirts next to the main lobby and then a

very upscale resort wear and loungewear area at the

front of the spa check-in. The hotel also has an

upscale jewelry boutique


Extras: Extensive spa offerings. Teen and children’s

programs, roving butler manned cocktail cart and

dedicated concierge level floor and spacious lounge.

Book through us and get complimentary daily breakfast

for two per room, $100 resort credit, upgrade, early

check-in/late check-out if available upon arrival.


Arrival Experience: You are greeted at the front door by one of the friendly

valets


Cleanliness: Management has put Covid cleaning protocols at the

top of the list in importance. They are doing

electrostatic cleaning in all areas as well as use of an

upgraded ultraviolet technology in the air conditioning

system. No one was allowed to enter your room if you

were in there and they gave you the choice as to

whether you wanted in room maid service or not.


Soft Goods: Fresh and in good shape.


Room lighting: OK, but not a fan of the long sweeping lamp over the

chaise lounge It was a “head banging” experience.


Technology in room: Plugs for phones and tablets at both bedsides as well

as the desk


Bathroom: Double sinks, separate shower and tub (although not

deep soaking), nice lit make up mirror, plenty of towels

and two robes


Closet & Drawer Space: Nice size closet, safe, drawer space both in the closet

and in the room making it much easier for anyone

staying for longer than a few days!


Service: 9 on a scale of 1-10


Mini Bar: Empty but know that would change during “normal”

times


View: Ocean/Pool View with balcony


Sound Proofing: Good


Activities: 7 on a scale of 1-10 (again this will change when the

world returns to normal!)


Spa Rating: 10+ on a scale of 1-10


Exercise Facility: 8 on a scale of 1-10
