Editors Note: We quietly visited this property pre-opening when only the restaurant and bar were operational. It appears to have all the trappings of a "must-stay" property.
White Elephant Resorts, known for its collection of luxury properties on the East Coast, opens a new boutique hotel in Palm Beach. After the renovation of a notable South Florida Hotel, White Elephant Palm Beach is ready to open its doors in November 2020.
“This property has all the attention to detail you would expect from White Elephant Resorts,” says travel advisor Anne Heintz. “But it’s not Nantucket in Palm Beach. It’s hip, young and in a great non-beach location. It’s perfect for couples or for a girls weekend.”
Re-envisioned by New England Development, the restoration of the building retained the vestige of the Bradley Park Hotel, which was one of the first accommodations in the area back in the 1920’s. This Mediterranean architecture, accompanied by charming New England style details, assures the new White Elephant stands out uniquely in the aesthetic of South Florida.
Of the 32 rooms in White Elephant Palm Beach, 13 are furnished as deluxe rooms and 19 are decorated as suites. The boutique hotel also provides rooms with ADA amenities. Each accommodation is fitted with contemporary décor, refrigerators, complimentary Wi-Fi, and optional sofa beds.
Finished with outdoor balconies, every guest staying in White Elephant Palm Beach enjoys the lovely and well-groomed landscaping of Palm Beach. The Palm and Park penthouse suites offer in addition large living rooms, fully equipped kitchens and spacious outdoor terraces.
The arrival experience is impressive. Guests are welcomed by a 7-foot white elephant statue created by artist Fredrick Prescott. The elephant is part of a 100-piece art collection compiled by the hotel. This leads to another must-see spot in the lobby: the restored fireplace… which is the perfect place to relax with a glass of champagne after a long day of shopping!
Other amenities include the complimentary transportation to explore Palm Beach. The courtesy car drops off guests at restaurants, museums, shops, local beaches and more. There are also bikes for the more adventurous guests!
For the true Palm Beach experience, the hotel can also arrange for parties or excursions aboard the signature Barton & Gray yachts.
After spending the day in the city, at the beach or in the pool, guests take a seat at the table in the Palm Beach restaurant, Lola 41. Enjoy the popular culinary cuisine and local seafood in this award-winning restaurant or indulge the tasteful cocktails or delicious snacks. Lola 41 also offers the White Elephant Palm Beach’s room service and breakfast.
White Elephant Palm Beach is close to Royal Poinciana Way. This is Palm Beach's original Main Street and is under a renaissance of its own. There are plenty of great new restaurants and shops within walking distance. We should also mention that Worth Avenue is less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel!
