Hurricane Ian hit the Gulf Coast of Florida in September. The category 5 storm was the worst to hit the state since 1935. The damage was extensive. The clean up will be taking place for some time. But Florida is not only a resilient state, it's a big one.


If you're traveling to the gulf coast over the next 6 months, you may need to make alternative plans depending on location. We're seeing a lot of damage from Fort Myers south through Naples, and that includes the popular island of Sanibel/Captiva.


North of there, in the Sarasota and Tampa areas, you should be okay.


The rest of Florida, including most Luxury Resorts and Hotels are open for business and ready to greet you!


Here are some resorts that have their doors wide open and ready for travelers!


South Florida & Palm Beach:
